Meet Nathan

Hello, howdy, hola, aloha, what's up!

I’m Nathan Vallette, and I’m running for Prairie Village City Council in Ward 4 because I believe in building a stronger, more connected community.

I’ve called Prairie Village home for over 12 years, and this city isn’t just where I live—it’s where I’ve built my life. I’m a very lucky and proud husband to my better half, Maggie, who is a lifelong Prairie Village resident and school librarian. I'm a father to three young, wild, and wonderful children. They not only keep us busy but are learning and growing each day. We've also got a dutiful dog, Millie, who may be accompanying me when you see me on my daily walk and chasing off the many squirrels within our ward.

Professionally, I’ve spent the last 10+ years working in specialized real estate finance, often in underserved communities where I’ve seen firsthand how responsible leadership, economic growth, and engagement make all the difference in having the most successful communities around the country.

When I’m not working or advocating for our city/schools, you can find me at KC Current games with my family, chauffeuring the kids around to their various after-school activities, at local rock or performing arts shows, or rooting for my beloved K-State Wildcats. I love this community, and I’m running for city council to help ensure it remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family for everyone.
